movie poster analysis

For the poster of my movie I have decided to have it look like old posters from movies and propaganda poster from and World War 1 and around that time.  My plan is to not have drawings like these posters shown but, use pictures and use Photoshop to make them look like the posters shown

another poster I looked at was "saving private Ryan" which is a ww2 action film

In lesson we presented our pitch for our short film to our class. After presenting it I asked questions to them to see what they felt about and they asked me questions about what they think I could do to improve my film. One idea they said which i liked was to make a rather big age gap between my characters; meaning make the General an older man and the officer a young adult/late teen. this is because they said most young people say that they are anti-war while older people would say they are the opposite. I like this idea as it will go well with the anti-war theme, I will try and add this to my film by getting an older person to act in the film or just to get someone to look older than they are. they were also other ideas i liked such as different ways of adding some anti-war poetry into the film such as adding it into the dialog between the two characters.
